Volunteer
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our project and an integral part of our growth plan. We are passionate about education, and about seeing our students succeed and become truly global citizens. We are looking for like-minded individuals to help us turn our vision into reality. We collaborate with multiple volunteer organizations, so if you are interested in a formal, longer-term placement please visit their sites for additional information.
Artists and Carpenters
As we add classrooms and students we need bookshelves, teacher desks, tables, benches and supply cabinets so we are looking volunteers with carpentry skills to help us build those. We also would welcome guests with background in art to design and paint murals for the school and decorate the classrooms.
Agriculture helpers
In order to create a sustainable self sufficient boarding school and to teach organic farming
we have designated an area of school property for growing,farming and harvesting crops for
students consumption, this ensures that our students are able to benefit from farm to table
healthy meals, we are looking for people who love gardening,farming and value producing healthy nutritious foods.
No experience needed just a passion,to provide organic sustainanble environment for the children
Kindergarten teaching Assistant
We are looking for volunteers with kindergarten and first grade teaching experience to work alongside our staff for a period of one month to one year, to model modern classroom teaching methods with emphasis on independent study, collaborative learning, and alternatives to rote teaching.
English As A Second Language (ESL) Assistant
We are looking for volunteers with some experience teaching English as a Second Language to spend one to three months working in Tanzania with the school staff and adult students, teaching English to both groups and modeling teaching methods to the staff.
