Sponsor a Student

Ikirwa School was founded to bring quality education and open up opportunities for future advancement to the children of Midawe and nearby villages. We are a independent school and depend on revenues from tuition and donors to support our operations. We are committed to accepting at least 20% of our student body on a pro-bono basis, however we would be the first to admit that many deserving students would not be able to attend our school because they can not afford it.

Sponsoring a new student costs around $41 per month or $483 for the entire year plus an additional 5% of the transfer changes to cover a total of $508. Tuition for continuing students is $35 per month or $410 for the entire year plus an additional 5% of the transfer changes to cover a total of $421. This donation covers their tuition, textbooks, school supplies, uniforms, breakfast, and lunch. More importantly, you would help a student who does not have a chance at a good education to receive a great one.

By sponsoring a child to be an Ikirwa Scholar you would be opening a world of lifetime opportunities for him or her.  Language skills are best absorbed at a very young age and we are committed to laying down a strong foundation for continued academic excellence.

If you are interested in sponsoring a student, please fill-out and submit a short form below to ikirwa@gmail.com. We will then send you a profile of the child that you will be sponsoring and an invoice for their tuition.

You will be able to follow the progress of the student you sponsor and stay in touch via letters and art projects.

We thank you for taking this opportunity to change a life of one child so that they can grow up and change the world.

Asante sana
