When Ikirwa School was just an idea, we found strength to make it a reality with the support of our friends, families, fellow climbers and the Midawe community. As we began telling people about our project we often received a question – “What can I do to help?”.  We are humbled and very grateful every time we hear that question because there are so many ways that you can contribute to our project. To harness all the goodwill directed at our endeavor we formed the Ikirwa School Project – a US-based volunteer organization with the objective to facilitate fundraising, volunteer recruitment, and other support activities on behalf of the Ikirwa School.
